The fun starts when we see the engines turning and smell Jet A1 coming out of the aircraft’s exhausts.

My Life in the Sky covers a whole multitude of my flying and skydiving activities ranging from flying small single-engined and multi-engined aircraft as an instructor and examiner to flying jets at 40,000 feet. Also included is flying the Powered Parachute before its certification and skydiving out of a microlight.

On the parachuting and skydiving side it looks at my life as a military paratrooper in the British Military whilst operating on a Rescue Force and going beyond that to skydiving both in the United Kingdom and globally.
There are several stories about flying and skydiving including the time I was almost killed on a skydiving World Record Attempt and the near fatality during the early days of tandem skydiving. Accompanying all that are a series of images of skydiving from around the world dating from the 1970’s and into the 2000’s covering military parachuting, civvy skydiving and images of our UK Record and World Record attempts.

Also included is a pictorial element of the U.S. Phantom Airborne Brigade, also known as PAB during one of their refresher training and jumping days out of a Douglas C47 aircraft in Florida.
