A Village on the Edge
Far from the grand halls of scholars and temples stood the village of Caerwyn, perched on the cliffs where the light met the dark. Caerwyn was small, its homes pressed close against one another, their roofs thatched with golden reeds from the fields. From its highest bluff, one could see the strange line across the horizon where dawn and dusk refused to mingle.
