Fuck architects III is the third and final chapter of a body of work begun in 2007, centered on architecture as an indicator of aesthetic, political, economic, and religious stakes. For mounir fatmi, architecture serves as a measure of modernity and its utopias, their triumphs and their failures, and it speaks as much to construction as it does to deconstruction. It is a material for writing and thought, much like literature and philosophy. At a time when the economic strategies of post-capitalism are inspired by ancient war treaties, mounir fatmi invites us to see Western philosophers as architects and leaders of a construction site, abandoned or suspended.
