Since the foundation of the CCSP (Camuno Center of Prehistoric Studies), in 1964, and even before, young people from different countries were attracted to Valcamonica in the Italian Alps, to attend this practical experience in recording rock art. Each year this small guide was updated and mimeographed until 1974, when it was printed. New editions were produced in 1976 and 1977. The present issue is a reproduction of the 1977 edition.
The interest in the present booklet concerns its historical value as an early aspect and concept of research. As such it is now produced in e-book by Atelier as a service to the limited audience interested in the history of research in rock art.
