In the last few decades, sports governing bodies have recognized that Athletes do age. Competitions have been introduced for senior athletes who want to continue to compete, for fun and and friendship. I skated as a young girl and continued skating for pleasure. At age 73 I purchased a new pair of skates and decided to enter competitions.

I invite you to share my experience as I participate in world level international competitions in North America and Europe. My efforts were recognized with Bronze, Silver and Gold medals in the Senior Category.

With five of my friends, I was featured in an Award Winning Documentary that chronicled our journey. I think you will find this story to be inspirational as I overcome jitters, finding a new love, and dealing with medical challenges.
