Whilst most photography represents a snapshot of a moment in time, the photographs from this project are studies of periods of time. The time it took to expose each photograph, from ten seconds to over an hour, is viewable in an instant yet remains contained in its entirety within the photographs. The long exposure photographs create a new reality in which time does not vanish but can be collected. This is the first time that the artist has published a book from this body of work. 26 photographs with an introduction by the artist.
