Eduard Dule was born in Albania in 1966, and all his studies were dedicated to music until he earned his academic diploma as an orchestra conductor in 1991, coinciding with the fall of communism in Albania. The transitional period following this event compelled him to emigrate to Rome in 1992, where he currently resides as an Italian citizen.

This exercise book is designed to guide pianists in approaching the Boogie Woogie music genre. The exercises are structured to provide a gradual increase in difficulty, varying the contribution of the right hand. They are divided into five levels, each further subdivided into categories A, B, C, and D, differentiated by the musicality of the left-hand bass lines. Two primary chords, C and D, have been selected to adequately cover the challenges encountered in Boogie Woogie.

The prolonged and daily use of this collection of piano drills promises pianists to develop:

• Confidence in handling Boogie Woogie harmony, training the ear to its distinctive musicality and emphasizing major and minor chord progressions with the right hand;

• Proficiency in executing the typical rhythmic patterns (piano grooves) of Boogie Woogie, essential for developing improvisational technique;

These exercises are recommended regardless of the pianist's skill level; the important thing is being able to read sheet music!
