I chose 18 popular Minuet from different musical folk songbooks. More often, the name of this dance was misspelled as „Minet“. These dances are an example of how people in the village managed to modify what they heard from the nobility.
They preserved the tempo and grandeur of the original noble minuet.

The Melody Maker™ is one of four tunings in the Lee Oskar Harmonica System. Lee originally developed it for his own playing and later offered it to the public as an alternate tuning alongside the Major Diatonic, Natural Minor, and Harmonic Minor. With its three altered notes, the Melody Maker™ is intended for playing Major scale melodies in 2nd Position (Cross Harp). As the arrangements in this book show, that makes it a natural fit for traditional melodic repertoire, from folk dances to classical and Renaissance pieces.
