Blood. Every single human being on the face of the earth has it. But how much do we really know about it and how much do we need to know about the red liquid that we all carry? In this book, the authors delve into this vast realm and explore some of the main realms that doctors/nurses glean from what is termed a CBC- Complete Blood Count. This book details the main types of blood- Types A, B, AB, and O and the implications of these blood types as well as the various Rh factors that are involved. There is a cursory review of the components of a CBC and a description of some of the terms and words that we commonly hear when we encounter the results of our "blood work" lipids, proteins, hematocrits, and various other elements of the results of "blood work" are examined and discussed.
