Dennis Siggery was the Newtown Boy - a working-class kid from the rough east end of Reading, in the UK. Dyslexia and a stammer held him back from progress at school, and his teenage years were fuelled by music, drugs, fighting and girls. This is the true life story of those wild years, and how he turned it around and found love, success in business and an affluent lifestyle. But then, at the age of 49, he decided that the most important thing for him was music - dedicating his life to writing, recording and singing The Blues!
Dennis is the singer with the Eric Street Band, a British blues band which, since its inception in 2008, has become highly regarded on the blues scene, with 12 albums to their name which have sold all over the world. Their album, 'Company Man' was voted one of the ‘Best Blues Albums of the Year’ in 2011 by Blues In Britain magazine. Dennis has also released albums as a solo artist, and as a duo with his longtime collaborator, musician, producer and studio owner Neil Sadler.
