Beginning just two days after Jingle Horse ends, Letting Go finds Erin Sorrenson packing up for her winter away in Ocala, Florida. She’s taking her personal horses, Jazzy and Captain, as well as four others in her sales program, and heading south where she’ll be living on a friend’s farm.
During the season, Erin will train and compete her horses, learn as much as she can about the industry, and soak up the warm Florida sunshine. A change of pace and some time alone is just what she needs. Here in Ocala, Erin can slow down, take a breath, take stock in her life, and come to terms with some of the challenges she’s faced over the last few years. But as she does this, she realizes that not only is she still in pain, but she’s living with guilt. A lot of it.
But with the help of her barn family, some new opportunities on the horizon, and sheer horse girl grit, Erin realizes it’s finally time to push on and face the future. It’s time to let go and leave the past in the past.
