Made In His Image is a collection of watercolor paintings, illustrations, stories, reflections, and prayers created by twelve young artists from the Spring 2026 Watercolor and Storytelling class. Inspired by Scripture, personal faith, and the gift of creativity, these students explored visual storytelling through a variety of artistic approaches, including graphic narratives, abstract painting, and traditional illustration. Throughout the course of the class, students reflected on Bible stories, verses, and lessons from their own walks with God, transforming their thoughts and experiences into original works of art. This anthology is organized into individual artist collections, allowing each student to share their unique creative voice. Alongside their final pieces, readers will find sketches, classroom exercises, artist reflections, and personal letters to God that offer insight into the creative process behind the artwork. No two students approached their work in the same way. Some chose to tell stories through characters and scenes, while others explored color, emotion, and symbolism. Together, these collections reveal the individuality, imagination, and sincerity of young artists learning to express themselves through both art and faith. The anthology concludes with a special feature from the Spring 2026 Story Calligraphy class, showcasing the work of thirteen student calligraphers and celebrating another form of creative expression. Created as a keepsake for students, families, and the community that supported them, As Is His Creation serves as a snapshot of a precious season of growth, curiosity, and worship. More than a collection of paintings, it is a record of young hearts learning to see God's hand in Scripture, in creativity, and in the world around them.
