If you like a well-written cast of characters, an unpredictable plot, an age gap (ten years), a suspenseful romance, a strong female lead, and a biker who will stop at nothing to right wrongs, then this five-book series with one novella as a bonus companion read (The Enforcers' Revenge #4.5 is not to be missed) could be for you.
This is a dark romance for a reason. It gets dark and sometimes tragic, but I sprinkle light around with Miss Catherine (in her 80s), a much-loved character in this series. She tells it like it is and helps mend bridges.
Like all the women in this series, she is fearless and a warrior. Their inner strength comes from their past, but they don't let it dictate their future.
This is not an MC series, but it does have a protective biker and his friends—his brothers—turning up to help him fight the evil surrounding the female he can't stop thinking about.

If you get angry with Edge, I am doing my job as a storyteller. If I make you angry about Whisper's predicament, I am doing my job as a storyteller. If you get off the ride too early, you won't see what I know to be true about Edge. You won't find out what Whisper sees in the man who once did her wrong.
It will be a bumpy ride, but it will smooth out.
