ABOUT THE PLAY

Hamlet Prince of Sweden is a Lecoq-style physical theatre show that transforms Shakespeare's most complex tragedy into an accessible and engaging theatrical experience. A theatre company, ready to debut with a full production of Hamlet, faces disaster on opening night as the entire cast, except for two actors, is involved in a car accident.

THE STORY

Two determined actors must somehow stage all of Hamlet - without lavish costumes, imposing sets, and complex choreography - completely on their own. A clownish nightmare ensues as they tackle Shakespeare's longest and most complicated work armed only with their wit, their theatrical skills, and sheer willpower.

TOM CORRADINI

Actor, theatre producer, musician and clown, Tom Corradini trained at the Atelier Teatro Fisico of Philip Radice in Turin (Lecoq method). NIKE REDDING

Nicholas "Nike" Redding (M.F.A. in Physical Theatre) is a performing artist and writer originally from Kentucky, USA. His work focuses on vocal and physical expression, musicality, and the use of poetic text. Since 2018 he has collaborated on artistic projects at the Roy Hart Voice Center in southern France, including Zauber (2020), Acis and Galatea (2025), and their current project Dido and Aeneas. He has worked for the past decade with site-specific theatre company Broken Jump, including Promenade, a yearly site-specific performance in Tuscany, and Détournement (2024 & 2025), a collaboration with Mare Culturale Urbano and the Piccolo Teatro Milano.
